Well I am torn on what to say about that one. We historically suck in that building so to come out with a point was good. But we could’ve had two points and these OT loses could come back to bite us in the ass towards the end of the year. But without Doan and Hanzal…..
I dunno. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t epically good either.
So what happened?
Well, Turris continued his rite of passage to studness by getting the first goal of the game. But that was after a cruddy first period where the Habs looked like speedy superstars and we looked like…….. Jovo after a night of hard drinking, slow and full of penalties.
So let’s focus on the good….. TUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRIS! We need this kid to catch fire so badly that I bought some gas and matches just in case he needed some help. #GoTurrisGo #NoEbbettNo
The Uppy/Turris/Wolski line is pretty kick ass, so we have two lines that gel now?
The Habs then take momentum back and their Czech and Cammy score. Cammy always scores on us. I’m just shocked that he didn’t have two goals.
Down 2-1 going into the third? Tough spot, especially in Montreal. But Dmo apparently knows no French-Canadian fear and he scores a power play goal.
Yep, you read that right, a power play goal. For the Coyotes. In the Habs net. Book it!
Of course we lost in OT but Bryz was huge in this game. Turris, Korps, and Prucha all looked good tonight. Sweatin’.
So what is up with Whitney? He has had 7 shots in 4 games. I know he was hurt but…… I’ve seen more outta Prucha this year and Pru has been in the pressbox for most of it. I don’t see the chemistry with Vrbata. We need the Czech line back. Stat.
So supposedly there where scouts from the Bruins at the game and the GM from the Bruins is coming to our game tomorrow. A trade? The Bruins are down a Dman after Boychuk got Dubinsky’d. We have Lepisto watching games in suits all year and suddenly, at a game with the B scouts, he plays? Are the Bruins reaching out to CzechFinnistan for a trade?
Tonight is blah. Tomorrow is Ottawa.
